i have promise sata300 tx4 sata 2.0 controller , don't want rebuild kernel server in production. have had problems in past kernel rebuilds , need card work under ubuntu...

there 4 port raid controllers work out of box ubuntu?

no 1 can recommend working sata controller?

i'm looking expand diy nas more drives , have run out of sata ports, i'd upgrade without hassle...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
