Thread: Notification bubbles are offscreen

hey all, i've been having problem while , i'm pretty stumped on how fix it.

notification bubbles high up, on screen bottom bit of them, can't read text in them.

have 2 monitors, , bubbles appear on right-hand side monitor, while unity panel appears on left.

i'm using 11.10, 64-bit. i'm not sure other info can give, if anymore info needed ask.

i've attached screenshot of right screen can see it, in case thread didn't make sense

1 workaround, mentioned in comment #6 there, place notifications somewhere else, better fitting; bottom-right, example, or on (left) side/screen unity launcher too, there end covering launcher, , way in way occasionally.

workaround - if using regular unity, not 2d - mentioned in comment #8 of bug report, cannot check or confirm if works since i'm not running 1 of recent versions of ubuntu (but lucid 10.04) , have no multi-monitor setup.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
