Unable to save, undo or redo

i working on document in indesign cs6 , of sudden realized i'm not able undo, redo, or save. how can fix issue , caused in first place?

is document still open? if is, first thing try export .idml (see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/526991). if not able export either, have chance, not certainty, of recovery force quitting id , restarting. know scary idea, id's auto-recovery best in business. if recovery data not corrupt id restart , open documents working on @ last recovery state, not more action or 2 removed last thing did. resave new name. not overwrite other file, try export again.  if you've closed file or id there's nothing can recover lost work.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
