Encore crash when clicking build

whe trying write files dvd starts transcoding @ different spots each time encore.  have tried different dvd writers , tried creating .iso. new adobe suite

system specs:

custom

asus p8z77-v premium board

core i7 3770

32gb mem

win 7 pro

i assume have not built dvd encore yet?

close , reopen encore. create new encore project. add 2 menus library. delete buttons except 1 on each menu. link them each other.

 

change build setting dvd folder (rather disk or image). build. did work?

 

in premiere pro, select short section of sequence. export mepg2-dvd (set export work area). create new encore project. "import timeline" exported file. set first play. set end action "stop." ignore warning no title remote set. build dvd folder.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
