Exporting iOS GUI elements in PNG in correct hex color

i export gui elements pngs iphone application , encountered following problem:

 

what did:

1. developer gave me hex code should produce gui elements

2. set color in illustrator , exported gui elements pngs

3. developer imported them , noted difference in color between gui pngs , color of background element set in ios app via same hex code

 

i checked various posts , not find concrete help.

 

i work on:

- mac book retina

- illustrator document color mode , rgb

- experimented color profile settings in illustrator , mac system preferences dont know settings mean , dont have feeling playing arround them

but dont know settings mean , dont have feeling playing arround them

 

then don't. time read on color management. app uis not color managed, though, setting basic srgb should trick.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
