My LR Folder is taking up too much space on my external drive

897.33 gb on disk (897,256,881,809 bytes) 35,021 items

right can't import new work on. have other external drives, 1 work from. can do?

you can have several external , internal hard drives showin in lr , can work of them. lr not "ingest" images, rather references them in catalog. lr works happily several external drives.

just import new photos 1 of other external drives. in import dialog on right side can select drive / folder want import in <destination> panel. destination panel visible when select <copy> or <move> @ top centre.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
