Number values not showing up in GUI

here picture of happening, can change values such scale, rotation, postion,  in viewport, there no yellow numbers , can't change opacity can see picture.

you've hidden "switches" column mistake.  right-click on top of columns bar (where see source name, parent etc) , select columns -> switches make visible again.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
