Re-authorization for ADE and Overdrive

i having trouble authorizing ade on desktop , overdrive app on ipad using adobe id. able log in https://www.adobe.com/account.html when enter id, following error message pops up: "this computer not authorized open [book title] because item authorized vendor id."

 

i have tried uninstalling , installing ade/overdrive , creating new adobe id, same error messages keep appearing.

i haven't had luck overdrive app drm books except overdrive library books.

i find free bluefire app works on ipad reading library , other drm books.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
