Reader Security popup after X to XI upgrade - have tried customization wizard, reg edits, everything

i've read through @ least dozen posts on many sites , no 1 has real resolution.  let me tell i've tried.  each attempt clean upgrade x xi.

 

1 - first tried customization wizard, did want except rid of popup.

2 - again went in wizard , set directory servers (c:\users\myusername\appdata\roaming\adobe\acrobat\11.0\security\directories.acrodata) , trusted identities (c:\users\myusername\appdata\roaming\adobe\acrobat\11.0\security\addressbook.acrodata) copies of own files on own computer did not post-install popup.

3 - tried same #2, copies of files c:\users\myusername\appdata\roaming\adobe\acrobat\10.0\security\ folder (rather version 11.

4 - tried in wizard add keys hkcu\software\adobe\acrobat reader\11.0\security\cdigsig\cadobedownload baskbeforinstalling , bloadsettingsfromurl both 0.

5 - tried on cliet pc change hkey_users\clientusername\software\adobe\acrobat reader\10.0\security\cppkhandler\bcustomprefscreated 0 prior installation.

 

all of these still resulted in prompts import old certificates.  i'm out of ideas.

you haven't stated trying do. trying avoid having popup appear end users on first launch? if so, of methods won't work.

 

the solution script removal of addressbook.acrodata files on end user machines. however, doing remove address book/trusted identity entries have adverse impact on current or future digital signature , certificate security workflows.
