Thread: A command to restart everything network-related
i have laptop ubuntu 10.04 use in on several wired , wireless networks. use hibernate function, more not experience problems connecting network when machine resumes. happens if resume on network 1 use when machine hibernated.
if reboot machine, connects without problems, lose hibernated session.
since assume problem due setting being out of sync or process not resuming, want run related networking, run during clean boot-up.
there command restart network-related?
i assume want gui interface?
run kde network manager applet has "enable networking" check box. if uncheck that, or more uncheck "enable wireless" box, recheck it, force network restart. i'd surprised if don't have same options in gnome.
