Thread: How does lightdm determine which sessions to show as options?

i switched ppa up-to-date , complete e17 including packages let removable devices detected , automounted--and after doing that, no longer see enlightenment possible choice of session.

update: helps install pertinent packages.

here's i've determined far:

• /usr/share/xsessions contains file named enlightenment.desktop, which, far can tell, looks reasonable.
• /var/lightdm/x-0-greeter.log contains line saying it's ignoring enlightenment.desktop file.

so... determines whether particular session shown choice under lightdm? there other files ignored. see ignoring guest sessions when i, non-guest, log in (btw, if 1 wants give guest other window manager options, how done?), , gnome.desktop ignored (its name= value same file, ubuntu.desktop, if reason it's ignored, why gnome.desktop appear first in log file?) afterstep.desktop ignored well, commonalities between , enlightenment.desktop, i'd appreciate pointer info on determines whether given session listed or not.

nodisplay=true

i'll see whether getting rid of nodisplay=true makes afterstep option appear, enlightenment.desktop contains neither of those. contents follow:
