Thread: How to completely erase so that I can start from fresh?

well title says all. have had few problems , want erase ubuntu. dual boot windows , ubuntu , leave windows partition alone.

how can erase ubuntu don't harm windows partition? , how can reinstall it?

boot ubuntu cd/dvd , install, go thru steps till asks where, tell install on old install.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
