Thread: Moving Pendrive Files to Trash

this has been driving me crazy long, long time. has happened on every ubuntu spin-off ive used. if delete file on pendrive, doesnt delete it, sends pendrive trash file pointless. if try delete files in pendrive trash folder, either gives me error message or deletes them , puts them in trash file. ridiculous. if want delete files have through terminal. how can correct situation?

let me answer own question....press shift+delete.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
