Thread: Photo splitting and detection software


i have been scanning old pictures can have digital copies , toss out old ones.

have been laying 3-4 photos on flatbed scanner , manually splitting image separate photos.

know of software automatically detect photo edges , crop/cut photos out? huge time saver.

let me know if know software exists ubuntu.

sounds pretty imagemagick first cutting composite image pieces , performing trim on each section. assumes put down images in approximately same location every time. requires there omitted space never covered photo. namely assume photos behave same way tiles here
