Thread: [Q] ADB not works

hi guys,

have samsung galaxy s i9000 phone.
it's `lsusb` output:
code:
bus 002 device 012: id 04e8:681c samsung electronics co., ltd galaxy portal/spica android phone
but when put usb cable in phone , try "adb shell" show me "device not found"
i'm stuck in problem/

i tried in live ubuntu , adb works charm, here (updated ubuntu) adb not works!
tried again , live cd not worked too. :/

try
$adb kill-server
$sudo adb devices

see if device gets listed. if so, can use adb shell. used same issues without root privileges.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
