Thread: Radeon 5700 HD series and drivers on gnome 3

hello,

i'm quite newbie linuxes, tried installing fedora. not graphic card. or drivers dont like.

on provided drivers gnome 3 works fine, on akmod gets glitches , hangs. wanted ask how things in ubuntu? able run minecraft , world of wacraft, don't want lose gnome 3 desktop.

ubuntu have better drivers fedora?

thank in advence

anyone similiar card , how work on ubuntu? come on don't shy, won't bite

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
