hello. 11.10, gnome fallback, hp dv7t pavilion laptop

when resume suspend have 2 problems. in 2/3 cases, mouse doesn't work. keyboard still work, can force logout , log in, , mouse work. also, every time resume suspend power manager gives me warning along lines of battery critical- 6 minutes left/99%. after few minutes switch 2/3 hours or whatever. anyway, i'm more concerned mouse thing, have suggestions fixing either of these problems? thanks!

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
