Thread: What is the current status of libimobiledevice?

hello everyone.

i've updated ios 5.0.1, because of 3 reasons:
- untethered jailbreak released
- siri ported a4 devices on cydia via spire
- wished test how libimobiledevice , partner libraries work ios 5. (i'm aware of works, partly works, , remains untested, wanted see myself.)

i'm aware libgpod can support current non-jailbroken a4 devices such ipad, iphone 4, , fourth generation ipod touch read-only devices. when on 4.3.3, jailbroke ipod touch, changed dbversion, , used generated hashinfo remedy of issues giving me.

however, wished know current status of libimobiledevice , other libraries libimobiledevice requires operate. i've checked on libimobiledevice's website, , said libimobiledevice version 1.2.0 supposed out end of october, seeing how it's december, , current development/unstable version of library still @ 1.1.1, wanted know happened.

know developing stuff hard , sh*t, , i'm not expecting miracles, find curious libimobiledevice tad behind schedule.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
