Thread: Why don't I have Grub?

could let me know information might pertinent in determining why don't see grub when bootup?

lubuntu 11.10 32 bit
old, large viewsonic monitor
1 os: lubuntu

on single os install grub menu not show default.
if need options of menu; after post start tapping shift key , menu appear.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
