Thread: Wireless Issues with Realtek RTL8187

good day folks!

first of onboard wireless (atheros ieee network connection (802.11b/g)) works flawlessly. use realtek adapter longer ranges.
both worked under ubuntu 11.04. have upgraded ubuntu 11.10 , internal cards works properly.
problem: network manager shows wireless networks available , can choose 1 , connect. when choose network; shows connection strength , connection not brake, unable browse website. ping works on local network. eg cannot ping google.
folloing this thread , many others no avail.

of primary info may need.
running on sony nr260e - ubuntu 11.10
