Wacom Cintiq, Adobe CS6, Windows 7, Pen Pressure Problem

hey everyone,

 

i've been wrestling problem week , can't seem make headway.  appears 'classic' problem photoshop , wacom tablets, can't seem find solution helps me.  problem i'm experiencing can best summarized visually:

soft strokes randomly interpreted having full pen pressure (or no pen pressure, i'm not sure).  makes working on art big headache.

 

i used cs5 , cintiq without issue on macbook pro.  i've heard problem due interaction between windows , photoshop, fact tablet works fine in other applications (like adobe flash , paint tool sai).

 

i'm sure if scoured forums might find threads try i'm frustrated right now.  attempted resolve issue using adobe's phone support (who told me photoshop wasn't tested tablets - you're kidding right?) , adobe's web chat support (who refused because had mac version of photoshop , wanted discuss pc-related issue).

 

yes, version of photoshop own mac.  i've downloaded , trying lastest version of photoshop (cs6) pc.  not interested in purchasing product if has major issue this.

 

look, i'm frustrated, , need know either how fix it, or push in right direction.

this problem comes , goes different wacom driver versions.

if have latest wacom driver, try going version or two.

 

 

photoshop tested tablets (most of our engineers , qe use them).

and photoshop support should cover macos , windows.

 

do have case number phone or chat support?

we'd love follow folks giving out bad info...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
