How do I get rid of the pop-up during the maintenance period

every 5 seconds receiving pop-up saying 'unable sync files'. extremely aggravating , want stop it. how?

the creative cloud connection unavailable 6 a.m. 5 p.m. pdt on may 6, 2013 due maintenance being performed.  additional details please see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1205690?tstart=0

 

mac:

from menu bar click on creative cloud connection icon , select “turn sync off”

 

win:

from start bar @ bottom of windows desktop, click on creative cloud icon , select menu item “turn sync off”

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
