How to open a idml file created by CS6 in CS5?

i created file in indesign cs6 , saved idml file yesterday.

but today can not open either in cs6 or cs5 version.

it says

"cannot open file "project #3.idml". adobe indesign may not support file format, plug-in supports file format may missing, or file may open in application."

 

is there anyother way open file?

this means file isn't .idml (how did make it?) or it's corrupt.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
