photoshop cs3 won't install in windows 8

what made think compatible windows 8?

 

chances (perhaps much) reconfiguration , tweaking, made install , run.  in fact, may have tried , succeeded @ 1 time or (i know got photoshop cs2 install , work in win 8 @ 1 point).

 

in case, might helpful if you'd describe what's gone wrong in teeny bit more detail..

 

did run installer administrator?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
