Thread: ATI/AMD Driver Issues

hello
have hp dv6 - 3064ca , laptop has 2 graphics cards:
01:05.0 vga compatible controller: ati technologies inc m880g [mobility radeon hd 4200]
02:00.0 vga compatible controller: ati technologies inc madison [amd radeon hd 5000m series]

have gone through 'update drivers' , 2 drivers graphics cards. (in attached picture) first 1 comes error when try , download it, second driver (third in list) works when download it, deactivated when try first one.
please me out guys d:

i had problem. able resolve removing fglrx package before trying install fglrx-update version using synaptic rather jockey.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
