Thread: cannot print in Lubuntu

i using lubuntu 11.10 , printer (hp laserjet 1020) being recognized on printing documents, job stopped , in attributes there message that: '/usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip failed'

how solve this? help.

there should log files in directory /var/log/cups, may give more detailed information error.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
