Thread: Cannot resume from suspense most of the time

found similar problem in thread http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1872122, seems dead, opening one. actually, have same experience, screen black blinking cursor when resume suspend, have force reboot. had „solved“ while unexplained trick of setting „export pm_debug=true“ , doing „pm-suspend“. on, resuming worked fine, until stopped again. now, repeating aforementioned procedure doesn't restore functionality.

also, mentioned in other thread, tuxonice funktionality hangs in middle of hibernation (not resuming, cannot resume because not hibernate properly). however, when had supense working while, toi worked, too, , when broke again, toi broke again it.

there seems connection between suspend-to-ram not being able go suspension, , toi suspend-to-disk not being able come out of state.

suggestions? debugging and/or solving?
