i have compaq proliant ml330t01 p933 received friend… no cd or other tower… boots windows xp pro , has following hardware [below] … windows boots , works should. install ubuntu , before wipe , fight configuration or drivers hoping have insight on this. or know issue might run into.. use general server privoxy, ssh , maybe nfs might install webmin well. can see have 4 scsi drives… can install 16 , raid 3 8gb drives single 24gb drive? insite great… although ubuntu great , *.deb based distro work if has better suggestion.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
