Thread: Fan Speed Problems with latest 11.04 update

i've noticed has changed 11.04 installation has effected speed control of cpu fan.

working fine before cpu fan speed seems max'd out.

seems suggest problem might be. else seeing issue it87 module failing load? strange thing seems fan speed monitoring working.

side note, have asus motherboard cool 'n quiet enabled. had reset system cmos/bios , can't 100% when fan speed problem surfaced. had video issue on reboot forced me clear cmos video display again.

has else seen cpu fan speed max out after recent update (within last 3-4 weeks) ubuntu 11.04?

nevermind. bad. in process of clearing cmos , not restoring bios defaults asus quiet fan features disabled.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
