Thread: How to run a command at startup with screen?

hi. need run shell script in screen session on every reboot. how can ? tried "@reboot /path/to/script" in crontab not working. found http://serverfault.com/questions/233...screen-session can't understand it. can me ? tya

you might try launching script /etc/rc.local. run after other systemv init scripts.

screen powerful , bit complex. if complexity having trouble, might @ tmux. lot simpler , lacks many (most) of features of screen can attach/detach nicely on demand.
