Thread: power mgmt in scripts

is there way control power mgmt in
script...what want this: have power mgmt set suspend after 10 minutes. want able run job
runs longer 10 minutes , not have machine go suspend state b/4 job completes. when job completes want reset power mgmt again suspend in 10 minutes...

doable in script runs
the job trying run??

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
