Thread: Problem Installing Axigen on 10.04 LTS

when try install axigen on vps 10.04 following error:

dpkg: regarding .../axigen_8.0.1-1_i386.deb containing axigen:
sendmail-bin conflicts mail-transport-agent
axigen provides mail-transport-agent , installed.
dpkg: error processing /tmp/axigen-8.0.1.i386.deb.run.a6bfw1/axigen-8.0.1/axigen_8.0.1-1_i386.deb (--install):
conflicting packages - not installing axigen
errors encountered while processing:
/tmp/axigen-8.0.1.i386.deb.run.a6bfw1/axigen-8.0.1/axigen_8.0.1-1_i386.deb

i'm not sure how resolve this, i've tried removing sendmail using commant apt-get remove sendmail. ideas? in advance!

i've combed axigen forums can't find on error.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
