Thread: seg fault from running gnome-control-center over X11

i have 2 latest-update 11.10 machines next each other, both internet addresses.
ssh -x 1 other , launch gnome-control-center, or without sudo.
window pops up, click on "user accounts" , promptly disappears , terminal reports seg fault.

repeatable. same thing if first bring remote xterm , that.

can else reproduce this? can me debug it?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
