Thread: Team Speak - Chat software installation

for wanting install team speak on ubuntu 11.10...

got ts downloaded onto ubuntu 11.10 - volunteers @ linux support group. downloaded client 64-bit 3.0.2 (i'm not sure if version matters, though, because did same thing other download). however, volunteer recognized first lines of text file:

#! /bin/sh


means it's executable file, needs different 'shell', whatever is. went throught few steps in terminal (the dos window) can't remember.



however, if double click on text file icon (which in downloads folder), window pops option, run in terminal, should do. should lead folder appearing in downloads folder same name text file



teamspeak3-client-linux_x86-3.0.2



go folder , click on executable file of same name above , software installs instantaneously.

bingo , you're away. (:>)

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
