Thread: using get_iplayer in the USA

i using tor in usa watch bbc iplayer , other shows , trying download shows using get_player error: failed record every time. assuming because terminal isnt using tor. how can set up? using paid vpn service , windows long time , have windows software this. cant afford paid vpn anymore , rid of windows well. using ubuntu 11.10

tor isn't free vpn, nor uk-based. won't iplayer.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
