hi, need make backup of system. far plan on using clonezilla makes clones/images of system partitions.

save external hard drive has windows 7 backup images.

asking problems? can save clone of ext4 partitions on external drive using ntfs? it's external drive have @ moment.

guys backup /boot partition well?

if back-up , in image file, seems other file , sitting there. restoring back-up new drive future use have have same format (ext3 or ext4). there issues if system totally different (ie ... motherboard, 64 vs 32 bit , other factors).

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
