Thread: Xshell/Putty equivalent for Linux.


hello,

i'm looking programe equivalent xshell/putty under linux. know putty avalible in repos, not support tabs , in case has problems logging session in file- stops in point , way make work again restart putty- quite annoying stuff...

know can connect via ssh ssh , telnet telnet via gnome terminal/konsole, save session output script, keep connection configuration in text files solution not suitable me.

i'm looking ssh/telnet client nice , user frienly gui allow to:
- save session output in text file
- predefine connections (define ip address, port or protocol, log file etc.) in putty
- use tabs opening new connections , easy navigate between them (keyboard shortcut)
- configure fonts (type, size colour)

virtual terminal emulators gnome terminal, konsole, guake, terminator, yakuake, yakuake, eterm, rxvt, aterm, wterm, xterm, tilda, stjerm not support above features.

if uisng xshell, knows looking
