Thread: xubuntu installer problem

i trying install xubuntu onto drive has ubuntu 10.04 , funbuntu installed.
installer won't let me choose /dev/sda3, has pclos on it.
installer keeps going highlighting /dev/sda1, has ubuntu 10.04 on it.
states drive install before click on install button!?
how can sure install sda3?

if having trouble partitioning part seriosuly suggest ensure have both checked download's md5sum (unless got torrent) , disk's integrity.

if still have issues perhaps screenshot might cast light on - i've never had installer not take notice of i've told it.

assume not dev 12.04 unreleased version.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
