Adobe.com dows not want me to download anything!!!!

os: win8, browser: ie10, adobe flash player version :none - i've uninstall it. problem: wanted download fp version  for other browsers, because need in order work on steam (www.steam.com). adobe.com site smart instead providing me with the usual download page (where can select os , browser) it kept telling me have win8 , don't need because it's embedded (although version old). ok, after spending 30 min reading kind of useless troubleshouting guides, decided uninstall adobe fp maybe in way download page. did not - don't have adobe fp anymore, site keeps redirecting get.adobe.com/flashplayer useless link: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-issues-windows-8.html
