DW and CPU Usage

so i've been searching on why dw 12.0 disk verison eating cpu while idle , eyes shot. i'm out of loop... had no idea (and correct me pls if i'm wrong) can't update adobe stuff without creative cloud?

 

so a: know of fix cpu thing. tried googling on site:forum.adobe.com , more confused when started.

 

b: guess it's time move freakin cloud thing. links/tuts on transitioning welcome. can longer update cs6 stuff? when try update dw, application manager hangs.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
