Flash CS5 exporting issue with particular .fla

i'm working on project in flash cs5 4 scenes.  when test movie in flash professional, plays perfectly.  when export .swf or .mov, playback slow , choppy.  movie 24fps , i've matched export fps when trying make .mov.  way plays smooth out of flash professional when published .html.  went , tried other projects , export fine.  1 thing noticed when trying export .swf export process goes extremely not going through steps.  export bar appears less second , file complete, poor quality. ideas on fix?  tried copying new .fla, didn't work.

you don`t publish flash movie html, html wrapper around swf-file, if swf works fine embedded inside html , choppy when testing standalone swf, has background  processes flash running during test (auto-saving or whatever). try close flashpro ide before running swf file, should @ least performance inside browser.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
