How to connect with iPod?

i using up-to-date ipod touch neosoar when plug computer, itunes opens.

when manually open ade, ipod not shown anywhere. how transfer book ade ipod when not show? how show?

i using version 2.0.6... on windows 7.

 

i can drag other ebooks itunes , show in ipod, ebooks borrowed library, have drm , if drag itunes, ipod gives error don't have proper authorization on device, or whatever. (i signed adobe id, can use drm on more 1 device.)

 

i totally lost....

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
