LR keyword filter cache not refreshed after Edit-In PS

this has driven me nuts since lr3 (running lr4.4 now).  whenever edit-in ps cs6 (and older cs versions) new image not appear in film strip. filtering on keyword , know returning new image has keyword(s) original had. can see keyword count increase on returning lr, edited image not show. forces me close , reopen lr intrusive workflow. since other user have reported same issue since lr3, why has adobe failed fix seems simple problem, refreshing keyword filter cache? can adobe respond? thank permanent fix (i hope).

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
