missing font not missing

i created newsletter on windows xp platform using indesign cs4. newsletter fine, , "packaged" fonts. upgraded windows 7 (64-bit).  now, when open same newsletter, adobe tells me arial black missing. it's right there in font folder, , when try reinstall in windows, see happens, windows says it's there.

 

if helps, when select font in newsletter, listed in indesign within brackets, so: [arial black]. gives? , how fix it?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
