i'm using lr 5 , sending 3 raw images ps cs5 merged pano. warning: "this version of lightroom may require camera raw plug-in version 8.1 full compatibility." open anyway , gives me uncorrected images. software date that's not issue.

do need go lr 4?

you need choose let lightroom render images...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
