having purchased , used adobe products in our creative agencies 20 years, cannot emphasize how incensed cc model makes me. yes, know cs6 still available, guarantee once storm on cc has settled go way of dinosaur - call me cynical have feeling has been retained temporarily provide forum staff quote in attempt appease rightly infuriated masses.

 

the creative cloud software , delivery system buggy , glitchy - check other adobe forums - cannot have 'downtime' our software not or not function due logins / incessant updates / accessibility.

 

the cost 'leasing' access adobe software considerably higher in long run - $x per month forever , never own anything, rather $x 1 time cost of ownership , reduced cost upgrade path.

 

you can guarantee price increase once 'box' versions no longer available / updated / supported , masses have been forced convert. longest 'pre-pay' term 12 months.

 

many people not need access of adobe's software applications, why offered various versions of creative suite in first place.

 

we not need cloud services, work massive files, have multiple backups - , have remote file access necessary - last thing need cc monopolizing our available bandwidth.

 

in other words, not go way of cloud.

 

adobe have made great software, cc business model may yet bite back.  @ 1 point in time quarkxpress no.1 , unassailable - , due reknowned poor service , overwhelmingly arrogant attitude customers suffered huge market share losses indesign.
