i never signed so-called photoshop extended service.  ripped tonight when tried start ps6 progrtam work -- denied use because "trial of ps extended" had expired!!!  b.s.  i've bought every verdsion of photoshop since began, think.  kind of service this???  adobe's marketing departments needs gett hell out of way of people best customers , let work!!!!!!!!!  sound pissed?  sure hope so.

as brits said in wwii: keep calm , carry on.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
