Thread: can't access partion on nfs share

i have 2 computers, desktop , laptop. on laptop have separate partition data called storage, have nfs server on laptop. want access storage partion desktop though it's mounted on laptop when try access the partition desktop through nfs it's empty. ideas?

appreciated, in advance!

i'm not familiar ntfs server. have ntfs partitions on desktop , laptop , able access to/from ntfs partitions using ssh. running lucid on both.

trying access within linux os or within windows os?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
