Thread: Cant drag window from top panel when full

greetings,

work maximized windows on dual screen set up. things tend work pretty well. periodically move applications 1 screen other deem appropriate efficiency. easy, grab on top panel , drag on other window.

however, when encounter program has densely populated main menu, , hover on top panel in order drag 1 screen other, can't grab window drag it. click 1 of menu drop downs. when moving fast, causes quite unexpected behavior , have move little *unmaximize* button, move window over, remaximize.

firstly, there modifier key while hovering on top panel switch "non-hovering" mode? if not, thoughts on doing fewest clicks/mouse-inches.

browsed while, found people requesting unity destroyed, discouraging. unity, i'm not requesting other options removed...options great .

i don't think can make global menu behave that, workaround be: alt + left-click -> move.
