the loco's not dead it's less active it's been in past. know i've been busy work , other projects loco. haven't had time plan events release parties - if else wants more loco they're welcome to. fwiw, there has been recent activity on mailing list.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
